Foundation Receives $10k from Charity Tournament

Hoakalei Charities presented the Foundation with a check for $10,000 on Sunday, May 23. President Arline Eaton, Vice President Mary Serrao and Treasurer Alicia Maluafiti accepted the check on behalf of the Foundation.
The contribution is part of the proceeds raised by the 2nd Annual Els Hoakalei Cup. The charity tournament was held at Hoakalei Country Club on April 20, 2010.
“HCF is proud and honored to be selected as a beneficiary of the Els Hoakalei Cup,” said Maluafiti. “We appreciate the commitment by Mr. Els, Haseko and the Hoakalei Country Club to recognize the important work of the Foundation and support our mission to serve as stewards of the ‘Ewa plain.”
Other beneficiaries of the tournament included The Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i Hale Pono ‘Ewa Beach Clubhouse, James Campbell High School's Athletics Department and the Beautiful Son Foundation. For more information about the Els Hoakalei Cup, please visit the Club's website.
